South Canadian Rockies is made up of three distinct regions: Crowsnest Pass Region, Castle Region and Pincher Creek Region. They are connected by historic Highway 3, and can all easily be visited within the same day, but we recommend spending time in each of the areas to fully appreciate the unique history, culture, attractions and activities that each place represents.
The region is also a spectacular gateway to other mountain regions including Alberta’s Foothills region, the British Columbia interior of the Kootenays, and Waterton National Park.
Learn more about things to do in each region, along with the dining options and lodging to help plan your perfect Southern Canadian Rockies vacation.
