Accommodations|Campgrounds & RV Parks
Beaver Mines Lake Campground is a great base for exploring Castle Provincial Park. The 76 unserviced sites are suitable for RVs and tents. Most sites are surrounded by trees, and many have beautiful views of the lake. All sites put nature and recreational opportunities right outside your front door or tent flap.
Beaver Mines Lake Campground is about 40 km (25 mi) southwest of Pincher Creek in southern Alberta. It’s open from mid-May to late September and all sites can be reserved. The water onsite is not suitable for drinking, so campers should bring a supply from home. Firewood is not available but can be purchased locally.
The campground has a boat launch, making it easy to get out on the water for fishing, boating and paddling. Hiking trails in the area let campers get away from it all. The trails also provide birdwatching and wildlife-spotting opportunities.
