Chinook Campground is situated within the Chinook Recreation Area, making it ideal for those seeking peace and quiet in the Southern Rockies or those on the hunt for outdoor activities.
The 90 well-treed sites are 8 km (5 mi) west of Coleman in the Crowsnest Pass. The campground is on the shores of Chinook Lake, which is ideal for swimming, paddling and fishing. Those who opt for dry land can take advantage of the mountain-bike trails, which become cross-country ski trails in the winter.
The campsites accommodate tents and RVs, but all sites are unserviced. There is no potable water onsite, so come prepared. Reservations are recommended.
